My girl is giving me a grandbaby!

Yes, it is me, and yes I have returned.

I was blown away by my little girl who told me that she is having a little one of her own. I am so excited!

I am very much in love with my children. They are gifts from God and a blessing to me.

I'm going to keep this short cause I want to gather my thoughts and words before I go any further with this blog.

Thank you to that special person who suggested that I resume my ramblings.

Thank you Lord for giving me another part of me to love.

These are my grandbaby's parents, Christina and Brandon!

Oh my goodness...

this old lady LOVES Twilight!

It may be a young adult book series...but I really like the simplicity of it. Yes, I know what it is about...vampires and werewolves ... but you know...I know the difference between real and make believe.

It doesn't change how I feel about the Lord that loves and takes care of me.

I read Twilight in a day and am now almost finished New Moon the sequel. Got two more to go. Then I want to see the movie.

It is Romeo and Juliet kinda with a twist. I guess somewhere in the place that no one sees I'm still that 14 year old that believes in that kind of true love.

I've come close with my honey bunny.

January 1, 2009

Wow! What an eyeopener for a woman that grew up in the 70's. Back then we thought that there would be flights to the colony on the moon by now.

But then, we were the ones that thought these things were cool:

Both REALLY scary!

But these...not so much!

Okay maybe to some the Bay City Rollers were a bit annoying.
But, I loved them, really loved them and wanted to be the first girl to sing with them.

Leif Garrett was to be my future husband! (so sad how his life ended up)

Thank God for unanswered prayers, huh?

My 8-track of Barry Manilow. (Stop laughing)

But the scariest thing that happened in the 70's, .... Mickey and Minnie going to the Disco.

For your listening pleaure. The Bay City Rollers. hehehehehe

Resolutions

There is only one resolution that I have this year:
to focus on what is important.

- God

- health

- husband

- children

- family

- church

- friends

- others in need

THESE are the things that I am going to focus on - in love and prayer- this year.

The New Year!

Every new year brings a chance to start anew. To begin again. It brings hope that the new year will hold fresh experiences and adventures.

I pray that you will have all of these things.

Adding joy, peace and love into the mix.

The old going out and the new shining bright in your life.

I pray that you take this opportunity to right wrongs, clean up the mess, tell the ones that you love how much they mean to you, and forgive yourself and others for bad choices, attitudes and misunderstandings.

Much, much love and peace!

Happy New Year!!!!
Cindy

p.s.
This doesn't have much to do with what I've said except that I love this song.
